MaƱana is about procrastination, or how the road to hell is paved with good intentions...

Marie (the charismatic Fanny Gilles) wonders why people find it so hard to be good. Seeing her neighbor is sick, she decides that buying her flowers would make her good. But this simple gesture turns out to be difficult to accomplish, what with all the stresses of life, and the ideal of goodness more elusive than she thought.

Mike Figgis (director, Leaving Las Vegas, Timecode) declares "Ms. Heikin has created a real film, a rare thing these days."

    About the director:

N.C. Heikin started as a theatre actress and director/choreographer at La Mama ETC in New York. Along with several theatre pieces that toured the world, she created the memorable role of Carmilla in the opera of that title. She also worked extensively at the Public Theatre, including co-writing the libretto for Non Pasquale, presented at the Delacorte Theatre in Central par under the auspices of the late Joseph Papp and directed by two time Tony winner Wilford Leach. Turning to screenwriting, Ms. Heikin worked for Paramount and Disney before moving to France, where she continued screenwriting for international TV co-productions. This is her first film as a director.
